With a deep relation to fiber arts, I love creating within the medium. From my first time cutting fabric, to dying materials, to laying out patterns, I truly love the artist medium that can be found in the fiber arts. With a wide array of materials, I let my creative side run wild to create abstract and fun creations.

Wearable Sculpture

This wearable sculpture is a statement on internal stress and pressures. It is designed for the wearer to be confined by the tight, waste gripping corset at the waste and hips. Hips are a place in the human body that hold large amounts of stress. The corset is nearly overtaking the wearer, relaying the feeling of anxiety and helplessness. However, as the wearer makes an effort to unravel and loosen the strings of the corset and large, stuffed, filled stacks, they are no longer weighed down by the overbearing contents in the bags.
